Dahab is located between Sharm el Sheik in the south and Nuweiba in the north and therefore a perfect starting point for various desert- and divetrips.

Situated at the Golf of Aqaba it is home to a vast,
still traditional living and proud bedouin comunity.

Dahab extends from the southern area of Wadi Gnai on the edge of Nabg national park, the El Qura and Ghazala Bay until the Blue Hole in the north. There are two bedouin villages:
El Assalah and Masbat which is situated in the Ghazala Bay.

Since the 1960th the city center developed in Masbat wherelse the northern El Assalah stayed traditionally bedouin.

Dahab means ´gold´ and refers to the bay with it´s golden sands where we nowadays find the bigger hotels.
In spite of these hotels at the lagoon Dahab is still
a small and original pearl.

The center extends along the beach promenade with a variety of small, tasteful basars. In the north and south of Masbat you can still find original stretches of beach.

The Sea & C resort is towards the north
- approximately 20 minutes along the beach from Masbat -
on a natural beach with an untouched house reef.

The place magically draws divers and travelers from all over the world. It is vastly popular for it´s very particular geography like it´s plentiude of shore reefs and the mountains of the Sinai desert. A perfect place for recovery and relaxation.

Some of the most famous dive sites like the Blue Hole,
the Canyon and the Lighthouse are located
at a close proximity to Dahab.

Experienced divers marvel every year again at the wonders of the depth where else beginner divers can happily explore the beauty of the shallow reefs near the beach.

The almost constantly present light north to south winds
make the temperatures which are commonly
quite high in Egypt bearable.

Visit the pearl of the Sinai and enjoy the dry warmth
with it´s refreshing breeze.
